Final Score: Bracknell Bees 3-2 Swindon Wildcats (After OT)

Sergejs Louskins' overtime winner handed the Bees a vital two points to close the gap on the Swindon Wildcats.

After being on the wrong side of a 6-1 defeat the previous night in Sheffield, it was important for the Bees to get back to winning ways, and the win puts them three points ahead of the Peterborough Phantoms as Bracknell remain in eighth place.

The Bees had the edge in the first period and took the lead through Shaun Thompson with a delayed penalty called. It didn't take the Wildcats long to tie the game at the start of the second period. Aaron Neil and Jaroslav Cesky combined well to pick out Michal Pinc, and the former Bee found a way past Tom Annetts to level the scores.

Swindon's confidence was growing and Ceskygave the visitors the lead after good work from Pinc. Bracknell couldn't find an equaliser in a closely-fought second period, but didn't give up the chase.

The Bees had to wait until the final seven minutes of play to tie up the game. James Galazzi found the net after being set up by Martin Masa. It was the least the Bees deserved for their determination in clawing back the game in the final period.

The home side took their confidence into the overtime period and Louskins struck after just two minutes with a powerful snapshot to give the Bees the important two points, and send the Wildcats back to Swindon with just a single point.
